I had a hard time deciding which category to post this info under, but here goes:

A student senior Meghanical Engineering Design Team at MIT is striving to design and build a better braille labeler. They have a questionnaire which
they would like interested people to complete. People living around the Boston area may get to examine and comment on prototypes as well. For information,

i think that the new braille labeler should be portable and could easilly fit inside a purse.
It should have set of 6 braille keys and a slot at the side to slip dymotape in the slot. Also, it should have a bigger slot that can be used for index cards or a small paper of a small notebook. another suggestion would be if the braille labeler opens like a slate with the 7 keys on top so that people can get a chance to use thicker paper because the lables made by 3 are not that portable and i am really considering one since i am in schoo.

Well, there is an e-mail address in my post that you should use for making suggestions.

a good slate and stylus is portable, cheap, nearly unbreakable, and about as basic and simple as you could want.

That is true! You can use labeling tape inside a slate and stylus and it's a lot simpler than a Braille labler, and more portible too! Well in my opinion.
